Stablecoins on the XRP Ledger — measured, not marketed

Marketing counts six enterprise stablecoins on XRPL. The ledger is public, so instead of repeating the list we measure it: how much of each coin is actually issued, how many wallets actually hold it, and whether anyone actually pays with it. Some of these numbers are large. Some round to zero. Both kinds are on this page, because that is the point of it.

* collector still catching up to the ledger tip for this issuer — the count can only rise.

Read the supply column with the holders column.A stablecoin's headline supply can be pre-minted into the issuer's own treasury wallets long before anyone uses it — XSGD shows billions issued but only a handful of holding wallets, so its supply figure measures preparation, not adoption. That is why we walk every trustline weekly and publish exact holder counts and concentration next to every supply number.

Method: supply is the issuer's total on-ledger obligations (gateway_balances), snapshotted every collector run. Payments are successful ledger transactions delivering the issuer's currency between third parties — mint and redeem legs touching the issuer are excluded, so issuance can't masquerade as usage. Volume is stated in each coin's own peg currency; we don't convert across pegs. Holder counts come from a weekly walk of every trustline at the issuer (account_lines), counting wallets with a nonzero balance. Issuer identity is verified against the domain each issuer publishes in its own ledger account root; EURØP and AUDD publish none, so their attribution rests on public explorer labels — stated here rather than hidden. Payment coverage accrues from 2026-07-29 minus 7 days; history deepens from there and nothing is ever re-counted.

What this does — and does not — say about XRP

Stablecoin growth here is evidence about the XRP Ledger as payment infrastructure — it is not automatically demand for XRP the asset. These coins are issued assets riding the ledger's rails; a business can move a million RLUSD while touching only fractions of an XRP in fees. If stablecoin traffic ever does show up in XRP terms — fee burn, bridging through the DEX, exchange flows — it will show up in the flow data we already measure, and we will report it there. Two different claims, two different measurements, never conflated.
